2. Priority Focus Areas

Child and Family Services, with agreement from the State Quality Improvement Committee, has selected new priority focus areas for the next 12 months:


#1 - Medicaid Restructuring: Changes to what the Federal Government will reimburse as Medicaid covered expenses require changes in the way residential treatment providers are paid. 

#2 - In-Home Services: The statewide In-Home Services model will incorporate the Practice Model and will set Practice Guidelines and program expectations that will be consistent across the state.

#3 - Safety Model: The Safety Model will be incorporated into all program areas, which will bring it to frontline practice. 


Child and Family Services will report on these new priority focus areas in the Quarterly Report and to the State Quality Improvement Committee over the next year.
